Guardian's consent text
Version 2026-10-09 · published
What changed in this version
The consent has two layers, and names the four providers: Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, and ElevenLabs for the reading voice alone.
Guardian's consent
This is your consent for your child to learn with Heynour. We ask it of you, each guardian for themselves, and you can withdraw it from "My account and privacy" at any time.
What we keep, and why
- What your child writes, says and photographs in their sessions, and a summary of each session, so Heynour can learn with them and you receive what you need.
- Your child's profile: their first name, birth month and year, their grade, and what you write or tell us about them. We never ask for the day of birth.
- Your recorded voice when you tell us about your child: it is turned into text by the voice provider, then the recording is deleted. Nothing of it is kept until you confirm it.
- Your questions to the parents' assistant and their answers, with what they need from your child's profile and summaries.
- Your child's wish list in the store: you see it, and it is used for nothing else.
- When you sign in with Apple or Google: we take only your name and email from them, and nothing about your child reaches them.
Who receives it
We name four providers from the start. One of them works for each task, chosen by the team, so we do not ask for your consent again at each switch. ElevenLabs is for the reading voice alone. Naming a provider here does not mean it is working now.
| Provider | Country | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | United States | The conversation, your child's profile with their first name only, and the safety check |
| OpenAI | United States | The conversation, the voice or explanation pictures, as chosen for it |
| United States | The conversation, the voice or explanation pictures, as chosen for it | |
| ElevenLabs | United States | The text of what Heynour says, to speak it in the reading voice, with your child's first name when it is in it. It never receives your child's voice, profile or conversation |
- What they never receive: your child's full name, your email, or your card. The provider of explanation pictures receives only a description of the picture asked for, with no name and no conversation.
- Explanation pictures: pictures Heynour makes inside the conversation when an explanation needs one. They are kept with the conversation.
- Outside the Kingdom: this data is processed outside Saudi Arabia, with the transfer safeguards the law asks for.
- Each provider has an agreement: it keeps no data and trains no models on it.
What we never do
- No ads.
- No selling data, and no sharing it for anything not listed here.
- No training models on what your child says, not by us and not by the providers.
How long it is kept
- Your child's voice recording: deleted as soon as it becomes text.
- Homework photos: deleted after 30 days.
- Conversation text: 12 months, then only its summary stays.
- Summaries, progress and gifts: while the subscription lasts.
- After the subscription stops: we remind you, then we delete.
- When you ask us to delete: we delete from the live database at once, except invoices the law requires us to keep, which carry nothing about your child.
What you agree to
Three boxes, each on its own, and we tick nothing for you:
- That you are the guardian of the child you add. We check this when you pay with your card, or through Nafath.
- That their data is processed as described here, including its reaching the providers outside the Kingdom.
- That what they may say about their feelings and wellbeing is processed, so you are alerted when needed. This is sensitive data, and it has its own consent.
Your consent is recorded with its date and the version of this text. We tell you before any material change, such as a new provider or a new task that reaches your child's data, and ask for your consent to it.
